John Meersman Named CFO for Boeing Subsidiary Aviall

BoeingLogoJohn Meersman, former senior director of corporate and strategic development at Boeing, has been appointed chief financial officer for the airplane maker’s subsidiary Aviall, an aviation parts and aftermarket services provider.

Meersman is a 28-year company veteran and previously helped lead acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments and joint ventures in his former role, Aviall said Tuesday.

He will report to President and CEO Ed Dolanski and Kelvin Council, vice president of finance for Boeing’s commercial aviation services unit.

“John will play a key role in leading Aviall’s core business operations and strategic growth initiatives,” Dolanski said.

“We welcome him to our team as we continue to expand our leadership position in the aviation industry.”

Meersman has also held positions in finance, international business, contracts, pricing and estimating.
