A program performance assessment system used by Lockheed Martin‘s aeronautics business has been re-certified by the Defense Contract Management Agency.
Lockheed worked to pass the Pentagon’s requirements in order to obtain a recertification for the company’s Earned Value Management System, Lockheed announced Monday.
Tom Bradley, Lockheed vice president of finance and program management, said the company designed EVMS to give leaders cost, schedule and scope data.
Bradley added the company worked with the DCMA and F-35 program office to gain the approval.
The EVMS is a project management technique used to determine program performance through combining scope measurements, schedule and costs.
