Whitney, Bradley & Brown has been awarded a position on a U.S. Navy indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity follow-on contract covering mission support work for the Navy and Marine Corps, Sea Power Magazine reported Tuesday.
The company will work to offer systems engineering, communication, program management and acquisition and information technology project support under the Seaport Enhanced Multiple Award Contract vehicle, also known as SeaPort-e.
Michael Perez, chief development officer at WBB, told the publication the company aims to help both service branches achieve their recapitalization and investment goals under SeaPort-e.
More than 2,500 companies compete for contract work under the SeaPort-e platform, according to the report.
