Garrabrants was most recently a professor of civil and environmental engineering and a research associate at Vanderbilt University, CH2M Hill announced Tuesday.
Garrabrants will handle stabilization and solidification-related interests that include semi-volatile organics in soil and cement mixtures assessment, physiochemical modeling and leaching chemistry and long-term durability of cement-based S/S waste treatment.
“We are pleased to add such a well regarded professional and emerging icon to our stabilization/solidification team,” said Bob Cipolletti, CH2M HILL’s Commercial sector technology director.
“It will be great for [Garrabrants] to roll-out the Leaching Environmental Assessment Framework methods he was so central in developing on some very challenging environmental sites,” he added.
