Deborah Doyle McWhinney, former CEO of CitiGroup‘s global enterprise payments business, has joined Fluor Corp.’s board of directors, Fluor said Thursday.
Prior to Citi, McWhinney was president of Schwab Institutional, a division of Charles Schwab, Inc. where she was responsible for the global risk committee.
“The perspectives we will gain from her experience in banking, finance and government will be invaluable as we expand our market presence, improve competitiveness and create profitable growth.” said David Seaton, Fluor chairman and CEO.
McWhinney began her career by working for 17 years at Bank of America and later moved to Visa International and Engage Media.
She is a trustee for the California Institute of Technology and the Institute for Defense Analysis.
