Executive Profile: Tom Suder, Mobilegov President and Founder

tom suderTom Suder serves as the president and founder of Mobilegov, a company established in 2011 to provide mobile offerings for academic and research institutions.

He previously served as co-founder and vice president of Concert Technologies for 15 years where he led the team that moved the company’s email to the cloud.

Suder is also a strategic advisor at the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Simulation and Training as well as a representative for the university’s Mixed Emerging Technology Integration Lab.

He serves as member of the American Council for Technology-Industry Advisory Council, where he held various leadership positions, a co-chair of the Advanced Mobility Working Group until 2013 and chairman of Federal Mobile Computing Summit, FOSE’s Mobile Government Conference and the 1105 Media’s Mobile Government Conference in 2012.

Suder also serves as a member of Virginia Tech Alumni Association’s Virginia Tech Intelligence and Defense Executive Alumni.

During his time at the ACT-IAC, he developed a wiki/collaboration platform used for training exercises by the Department of Homeland Security‘s National Exercise Simulation Network.

Suder is a recipient of the 2013 Federal 100 Award, 2012 Industry Contributor of the Year of ACT-IAC and the 2011 Rising Star Award from various government IT publications.
