Mark Zamzow, Former USAF Africa Commander, Joins The SPECTRUM Group; Stephen Loftus Comments

Screen Shot 2014-02-12 at 4.46.54 PMRet. U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Mark Zamzow has joined The SPECTRUM Group where he will support clients interested in airlift, aerial refuelling, training and mobility operations.

Prior to his new role at the Alexandria, Va.-based consulting firm, Zamzow spent 34 years in the Air Force and accumulated 3,400 flying hours as a pilot, SPECTRUM announced Monday.

“We are constantly searching for executive-level personnel with the unique combination of exceptional and distinguished military service as well as experience in the private sector,” said Stephen Loftus, SPECTRUM chairman and CEO.

Most recently, Zamzow served as commander of the U.S. Air Force in Africa.

“[Zamzow] adds an important dimension to our Air Force Team with his five years of command experience and impressive operational and staff credentials, said Keye Sabol, SPECTRUM Air Force Team Leader.

“Additionally, his disaster response and interagency expertise will be highly valued by our defense industry and homeland security clients,” Kabol added.
