SAP logoSAP has awarded the GENYOUth Foundation with a multi-year, $3 million commitment to support a new young entrepreneurs program aimed at improving the nutrition and physical activities in schools.

Through the commitment, which includes a mentorship program run by SAP employees, the foundation will be able to help more students in the 73,000 participating schools, SAP announced Friday.

The Fuel Up to Play 60 program, the largest in-school health and wellness program in the country, is part of the GENYOUth’s AdVenture Capital, a social entrepreneurship program.

“Supporting young entrepreneurs is at the core of our vision to make the world run better and improve people’s lives,” said Bill McDermott, co-CEO of SAP.

“SAP is proud to partner with GENYOUth in inspiring and empowering kids to live healthier, more active lives. We believe in winning dreams and in leaders like Alexis Glick who champion the bright possibilities ahead for our future innovators,” McDermott added.
