Ret. USAF Col. James Buchman Joins SPECTRUM Group’s Consulting Team; Stephen Loftus Comments

The SPECTRUM GroupJames Buchman, a retired U.S. Air Force colonel, has joined The SPECTRUM Group‘s Air Force team following 25 years of military service, bringing his public and private sector work experience to the company’s consulting practice.

“His substantial expertise in Air Force and Foreign Military Sales programs, as well as his deep understanding of education and training concepts, will provide our clients with exceptional insight across both domestic and international markets,” Stephen Loftus, a retired Navy vice admiral and TSG’s chairman and CEO, said Thursday.

Buchman served as instructor navigator, aviation training program manager and advisor on the rebuilding of the Iraqi air force while in the U.S. Air Force.

He also worked on the Foreign Military Sales program with congressional staff and agencies such as the departments of Defense and State, and was an advisor on national security and foreign policy to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency director.

He will work under retired Air Force Maj. Gen. Keye Sabol, TSG’s Air Force Team lead.
