Mike Singer Appointed Citrix DoD Senior Director

b-w world-peopleCitrix has named Mike Singer to lead its defense team out of the company’s regional headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland.

As new senior director for the Defense Department business, Singer will strive to help the company bring its products in line with market needs with his experience in the federal information technology industry, Citrix said Wednesday.

Prior to Citrix, Singer served in roles such as federal vice president at Dell Software and Avaya Federal, government sales and marketing senior director at Adobe Systems, and director and managing director at Sun Microsystems.

“With proven skills in sales, marketing, executive level management and leadership, Mike’s diverse background in federal IT is exceptionally suited to further support our DoD and intelligence partners’ IT priorities,” said Tom Simmons, area vice president for the public sector at Citrix.

“He will, without a doubt, provide great value not only for our DoD team, but our entire public sector team at Citrix,” he added.

Singer is board chairman emeritus of USO Metropolitan Washington and an honorary faculty member at National Defense University.
