Leidos has received the Howard County Chamber of Commerce’s GovConnects Government Contractor of the Year award for work to connect small and mid-sized businesses in cyber, big data, health information technology and cloud computing.
Leidos provides speakers for GovConnects’ government contracting continuing education program and other initiatives, the company said Tuesday.
“Leidos is honored to receive recognition for our continued commitment to work with the regional business community through GovConnects, helping to connect the local government contracting community to enhanced growth opportunities, education and resources,” said Sam Gordy, a Leidos group president.
Leidos is also a sponsor of the annual cybersecurity conference and thought leader of the GovConnects cyber committee.
