Marc Allen Named Boeing International President; Jim McNerney Comments

Marc Allen, president of Boeing’s financing subsidiary Boeing Capital Corp., will become president of the aerospace and defense company’s international business organization on Feb. 15. Boeing International, effective Feb. 15.

Allen will succeed Shep Hill, who will retire on April 1 after 28 years at Boeing, and report to CEO Jim McNerney, the company said Friday.

He previously served as Boeing’s international general counsel and president of Boeing China between 2011 and 2013 after he left Boeing International.

“As a business leader who has lived and worked outside the U.S. and who helped build our international capability, Marc knows what’s needed to support our expanding global presence, business interests and stakeholder relationships worldwide,” said McNerney.

Tim Myers, vice president and general manager of aircraft financial services for Boeing Capital, will succeed Allen as president of Boeing Capital on Feb. 15.

Myers will report to Dave Dohnalek, Boeing vice president of finance, corporate treasurer and chairman of Boeing Capital.

Greg Smith, Boeing executive vice president and chief financial officer, will also replace Hill as Boeing International’s lead for business development and strategy.
