Chuck Harrington — chairman, CEO and president of Parsons — has been inducted into the National Academy of Construction.

Parsons said Monday Harrington will join 26 other inductees for 2015 at NAC, which was founded in 1999 to recognize the industry leaders’ contributions to the construction and engineering sector.

NAC “is comprised of leaders who have dedicated their careers to improving and advancing the profession of construction and I share that dedication,” Harrington said.

Harrington is a three-decade engineering and construction veteran and has led Parsons since 2008.

He currently sits on the boards of directors of J.G. Boswell Co. and AES Corp. and nonprofit organizations such as the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Foundation, California Science Center Foundation and the Business-Higher Education Forum.
