SOS International has named Stephen Iwicki, a former vice president at General Dynamics‘ information technology business, as the new intelligence solutions group vice president following the appointment of Robert Billeaud as senior vice president for operations.
SOSi said Tuesday Iwicki will be in charge of a company business unit that holds a potential $150 million contract to support U.S. Army operations in Afghanistan.
“He brings a wealth of leadership experience in the intelligence technology market, particularly among the national intelligence agencies, where we’re actively looking to grow,” said SOSi President and CEO Julian Setian.
Iwicki is a former business strategy and operations director at Science Applications International Corp., where he managed operations, marketing and business development for defense and intelligence business units.
He is an Army veteran who held tactical and strategic intelligence positions during his 20-year career that includes service as Army intelligence transformation director and as senior intelligence officer at the White House’s Office of National Drug Control Policy.
Billeaud helped oversee the February acquisition and subsequent integration of New World Solutions, an image science contractor to the Army, National Reconnaissance Office and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
