EMC Vet William Teuber Named Senior Operating Principal at Bridge Growth Partners

William Teuber

William Teuber, former vice chairman of EMC, has joined New York-based investment firm Bridge Growth Partners as senior operating principal.

He became EMC’s vice chairman in May 2006 and stepped down from the post upon completion of the data storage vendor’s merger with Dell in September 2016, Bridge Growth Partners said.

In his previous role, Teuber was responsible for strategy and business development in emerging markets and sponsored the largest customer account at EMC.

He also managed the company’s global financial operations from 1996 to 2006 as its chief financial officer.

“Bill is an extraordinarily effective advisor who knows how to develop strategies and management teams, drive growth, maintain long term relationships and get things done,” said Joe Tucci, chairman of Bridge Growth Partners.

“His impressive career has put him at the forefront of operational and strategic leadership in the technology industry, giving him a great window into the disruptive forces impacting all sectors of the global economy and the resulting private equity investment opportunities that we are well positioned to evaluate and pursue,” Tucci added.

Teuber is also currently a member of the board of trustees at the College of the Holy Cross and the board of directors of CRH, Inovalon and Popular.
