Former FEMA Official Deanne Criswell Joins Cadmus as Principal for Homeland Security Sector

Deanne Criswell

Cadmus has named Deanne Criswell, formerly head of a Federal Emergency Management Agency national incident management assistance team, as a principal in the company’s homeland security sector.

Criswell will oversee Cadmus’ relationships with local and state homeland security and emergency management customers, the professional consulting services provider said Thursday.

“Having worked with Deanne as she trained and managed federal response teams, we are looking forward to partnering with her to bolster Cadmus’ homeland security training, planning, exercise, and evaluation programs,” said Kevin O’Prey, senior vice president and operating unit director for the homeland security sector at Cadmus.

Criswell was a federal coordination officer at FEMA and worked with governors, mayors and community leaders on response efforts to disasters and other incidents.

She is a former manager of the office of emergency management in Aurora, Colorado, and was responsible for the city’s emergency and disaster planning programs.

She served in the U.S. National Guard and is a certified emergency manager by the International Association of Emergency Managers.
