ManTech’s George Pedersen Gets CIA Officers Memorial Foundation Award; Kevin Phillips Comments

George Pedersen, co-founder, chairman and CEO of ManTech International, has received the CIA Officers Memorial Foundation’s Patriots award in recognition of his commitment to support the CIA’s mission and the country it serves.

ManTech said Thursday that John McLaughlin and Jerry Komisar, respectively chairman and president of the CIA Officers Memorial Foundation, presented the award to Pedersen during a company board meeting held Tuesday in Herndon, Virginia.

“ManTech has been a longstanding supporter of the Foundation, given its important role for the families of fallen CIA officers, and we are honored to have our CEO and Chairman receive such a significant award,” said Kevin Phillips, ManTech president and chief operating officer.

The CIA Officers Memorial Foundation was established to provide support to survivors and family members of CIA agents who have died while on active duty.
