BAE Systems will conduct media briefings and feature its products at the 2017 Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting and Exposition from Oct. 9 to 11 in Washington, D.C., BAE said Friday.
Combat vehicles and precision-guided munitions technologies will be the focus of the briefings on Oct. 9 and 10 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
The company said the vehicles and munitions aim to fulfill needs of the U.S. military and its allies.
U.S. Army Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle Project Manager Col. Michael Milner and BAE Business Development for Combat Vehicles – U.S. Director Jim Miller will discuss updates on the AMPV, which BAE will exhibit at the event.
BAE’s Dave Harrold, business development director for survivability, targeting and sensing solutions, and Chris King, business development director for weapon systems, will be the speakers for the Precision-guided Munitions Technology briefing.
The Maneuver-Short Range Air Defense briefing to be led by Deepak Bazaz, BAE vice president of programs for U.S. combat vehicles, will discuss the potential benefits of fitting Bradley Fighting Vehicles with SHORAD capabilities to furnish the armored brigade combat team maneuver formation with air defense capacities.
BAE will also display during the expo the Advanced Component Obsolescence Management online tool, aircraft threat management systems, Broadsword Spine e-textile technology, Enhanced Night Vision Goggles and thermal weapon sights, the Geospatial eXploitation Products geospatial intelligence software and the Innovative Multiple-object Tracking Radar.
