Vencore to Highlight RF Mapping Platform at Cyber Electromagnetic Activity Forum

Vencore has agreed to sponsor a symposium co-hosted by Association of Old Crows and the U.S. Army’s program executive office for intelligence electronic warfare and sensors.

The company said Tuesday it will serve as title sponsor of the Cyber Electromagnetic Activity Symposium that will take place at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland from Oct. 16 to 19.

David Shur, senior manager scientific research at Vencore Labs, will attend the event to discuss a wireless distributed operation system the organization is developing for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

Vencore Labs received a $5 million subcontract from Lockheed Martin last year to develop radio frequency mapping and sensor command-and-control technologies under the third phase of DARPA’s Advanced RadioMap program.

RadioMap is designed to help military personnel utilize and manage available spectrum when they conduct tactical missions.

This year’s CEMA Symposium will highlight the multidomain battle concept and military technology requirements in areas such as electronic warfare, cyber and signal intelligence.
