Boeing will exhibit a range of aircraft platforms and an ocean surface robot during a six-day aerospace and defense show in Singapore.
The company said Monday it will participate in this year’s Singapore Airshow to highlight the firm’s efforts to increase growth prospects and opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region for its defense, commercial and service businesses.
“Singapore is a global aviation hub and the headquarters for our Southeast Asia operations, where we have enjoyed 70 years of presence and partnership,” said Ralph Boyce, Boeing’s president for Southeast Asia.
Boeing Defense, Space & Security offerings that will be on display include the F-15SG multirole fighter aircraft, CH-47 Chinook and AH-64 Apache helicopters, P-8A Poseidon and F/A-18 Super Hornet.
The company will also showcase the Integrator and ScanEagle unmanned aircraft systems from its Insitu subsidiary as well as the Wave Glider ocean surface robot from Liquid Robotics, which Boeing acquired in late 2016.
Boeing’s global services organization will also have an exhibit booth at the event.
The air show will take place at the Changi Exhibition Center from Feb. 6 to 11.
