Vencore Labs Chief Scientist Anthony Triolo Joins National Spectrum Consortium’s Exec Committee

Anthony Triolo

The National Spectrum Consortium has appointed Anthony Triolo, chief scientist and senior manager of Vencore Labs, as a large company sector representative on the consortium’s executive committee.

He will work with other panel members to help advance NSC’s efforts to identify collaboration opportunities between government, industry and academia to develop wireless spectrum management platforms, Vencore said Monday.

At Vencore Labs, Triolo leads the research organization’s initiatives to build systems to monitor distributed spectrum in real time and adapt commercial LTE technology for potential airborne telemetry applications.

NSC collaborates with multiple government customers through a potential five-year, $1.25 billion “other transaction” agreement from the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Emerging Capabilities and Prototyping.

Vencore Labs is the Chantilly, Virginia-based contractor’s research arm and supports NSC in technology development projects that cover the spectrum utilization, cellular based range telemetry, spectrum situational awareness and multiple-input/multiple-output radio areas.
