Parsons said Thursday Averkamp will support business development and marketing growth efforts of the company’s systems group within the eastern U.S. region.
He holds more than 28 years of industry experience in the areas of marketing, business development, project management and technology assessment.
Throughout his career, he has marketed a variety of technology platforms such as global positioning systems, tolling sensors, electronic systems, wireless systems and automobiles.
Averkamp holds bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and mathematics from University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and an M.B.A. degree from University of Chicago.
