Leidos Named to Ethisphere’s ‘Most Ethical Companies’ List; Roger Krone Comments

The Ethisphere Institute has included Leidos in the nonprofit organization’s 2018 list of most ethical companies around the world.

Leidos said Monday it is one of the 135 companies that have received recognition from the institute for their standards and practices in ethics.

“Today’s increasingly complex world requires that each of us have an even greater focus on ethical behavior, not just in word, but in acts of service to our customers and within our communities,” said Leidos Chairman and CEO Roger Krone.

“Our talented employees take ethics personally and consistently uphold our organizational values of integrity, innovation, agility, collaboration and commitment,” added Krone, a 2018 Wash100 recipient.

The company also aimed to establish a new culture and one unified set of values after its 2016 merger with the information systems and global solutions business of Lockheed Martin.

The Ethisphere Institute used its Ethics Quotient framework to assess the World’s Most Ethical Companies for 2018.

The institute determined honorees based on criteria such as ethics and compliance program; corporate citizenship and responsibility; culture of ethics; governance; and leadership, innovation and reputation.
